First, opened as a trattoria, then restaurant, and finally by 1969 became known as Hotel Majestic Toscanelli. The Ghetto is an old residential downtown area inhabited mainly by the Jewish population until the 1970's. Currently, it is still one of the most interesting and vital environments in Padua.
